Although delayed this year, we thought migration was probably over now as June starts and the temperatures being to climb. But no  … stalking the garden this afternoon trying to catch shots of bumble bees on the flowers that are all over our so far uncut lawn I happened to catch site of this visitor to the waterfall. Such a gem – I won’t say more, just invite you to enjoy the pictures:

The bee I was really trying to photograph

Yollow Warbler arrives near the bottom of the waterfall and checks the surroundings

Climbs the rocks

Wanders over some moss

Gets his feet wet

… and splish, splash. splosh

Up to a nearby branch, a little wet but refreshed

… and puts his feathers into order again before flying off
