Quite a glorious day – this afternoon was a pleasant 14C temperature and warm sunlight to take the edge off. J was on duty at the library so I wandered down with her and then enjoyed the riverside which simply looks at its best in October. There are worse places for a chap to spend his retirement … a pub would be a nice addition, but we can’t have everything though bolting a bar onto the back of the town hall with a patio overlooking the water would not be a bad idea as the building is ideally placed to take advantage of the views.
Beautiful.
Rather more interesting than the River(?) Great Ouse, is it not. No doubt you will not be returning to the country of your birth any time soon.
Warm regards to both of you.
Bob and Joan.
