Milkweed seed capsules in the snow

It was announced this week that the number of Monarch Butterflies at their winter habitat in Mexico are three or four times more than last year. One swallow does not make a summer, but possibly the spreading popularity of milkweed in Quebec (an important breeding location) has contributed.
