A better sort of lawn
A corner of the garden, with cherry and Amelanchier blossom, in the warm evening light. You will observe that the “lawn” is not a striped green sward cut to within an inch its life but has been left to do what it wants to do. It is full of purple, white and hybrid violet flowers, group of blue forget-me-nots and several other small “weeds” that have set up home and seem to be about tp produce their own shades of blue. Not mowing is a very productive way to garden.
I have several small areas which look after themselves, but there are more ‘stingers’ than flowers! A lovely corner seat, Richard, but when do you have time to enjoy it?
Regards from 235.
