Not a bird related post –

With approaching retirement and the changes that will bring to our daily lives we have decided to make some adjustments to the use we make of the house.

In essence, this means converting the two spare bedrooms into separate offices/workrooms for each of us and doing some dramatic renovations and decorative upgrading to the downstairs office so that, with the construction of a new wall and doorway it turns – miraculously – into a self-contained and quite roomy “garden suite” for visitors.

This is going to be a long transformation with several periods of having lots of balls in the air at once, hoping they won’t come to earth until we are ready for them.
