Lots of snow in the past few days, over two feet deep, and forecast of serious (even for here) cold at the end of the week meant that this morning’s exercise session was not going to be a healthy walk or retreating to the basement treadmill. It was on with the boots, coat and gloves and getting outside to make sure we can get out of the front door and restock the garden bird feeders while the side gate needed unblocking for the next delivery of propane.
And now the feeders are filled and the Jolly Juncos are already filling their beaks.
Hard work, but enjoyable. I am strange in that I quite like shovelling snow.
(Note for people living in the US – the temperatures forecast in the last image are degrees centigrade, not F)
