Last year at the end of May we were praying for rain but this year it’s just the opposite.  After the glorious weather of the Victoria Day weekend things have reverted to generalised dampness.  On the other hand, this has meant the plants are having the time of their lives and blossom everywhere is a good as it gets.

There is one corner of the garden that looks especially fine at the moment with flowers of forgetmenot, lilac and dogwoos and plenty of muted foliage greens.
