There were some very dramatic clouds over the river this morning so I tried to use the new process to capture them (see yesterday’s posting down the page a bit for details) – I also took some pictures of Fitz Farm, a town property by the riverside. The results are, as the critics say, somewhat “chocolate-boxy” because we are not used to seeing photographs with this range of tonalities but the riverside view, in particular, is very pleasing to my eye. i have included conventional shots as references. Must make sure not to overdo this but I am heading to the arboretum this afternoon and will see what I can achieve there.

Would grace any chocolate-box lid
LATER … on returning from the Arboretum I found a couple of “keepers” that are worth sharing here. Spectacular skies this summer make up for the lack of hot sun.
That’s enough for now.
