We have created an interactive trail map for visitors following the Main (Orange) Trail in the Morgan Arboretum. This map is full of interesting information for walkers taking the trail during the winter months – a spring/summer version will be published around Easter time.

Use the map on this page to plan you walk – and then use the following link to open the map in the browser on your smartphone so that you can follow the route and check the information as you pass along the trail:

How to use this map is fairly obvious, but there are some helpful notes after the map if you get stuck:

Notes on using the interactive trail map:

This procedure works equally on your computer browser or on your smartphone browser.

  1. You can zoom in and out of the map to see more or less detail. Use the zoom facility on your computer/phone according to the operating system (Windows, Mac, iOS, Android) of you device.
  2. At the top right of the map is small “square” icon – this will make the map fill your screen if you wish.
  3. Use your mouse cursor or your fingers to move the map around.
  4. Select the icons to bring up a short informative text or to see some photographs that will illustrate various features.
