This old tree stands guard on the shore of the bay, watching the comings and goings of small boats and waterbirds. The photographers boots filled with snow .... what looked like a promising image turned into a very cold and wet one :)
A snow storm on 2 January brought our semi-resident rabbit back to look around for something to eat. Sadly, he often chooses the bark on choice shrubs and has killed plants in the past … but we just curse and let him stay.
