April Showers

April Showers

April Showers …

Not so much showers as a day of blatter mixed, early in the morning, with slushy snow. The garden soil has exceeded its carrying capacity for water and small lakes abound. Eventually the sun came out, but not enough to make these just arrived crocuses open their petals – which is not a bad thing as to my eye, this tight closed arrangement is perfect with the adherent rain drops.
